The Jura Hall has a large main hall with a stage at one end and a bar area at the opposite end. It has a fully equipped kitchen with gas cooker and commercial dishwasher.
There are male toilets with 2 urinals and a lockable cubicle, there are female toilets with 2 lockable cubicles.
Accessibility in the hall
There is an accessible toilet with lots of space if a second person is required to help. This room has handrails and a lowered sink along with a baby changing table suitable for child up to 11kg.
There is a dedicated disabled parking space in the car park which is marker with a sign. The hall has a side door with a ramp which is accessible. It can only be opened from the inside as it is also a fire door but people can be on hand to help if needed. When inside the hall there are only lips, not steps, on the floor between rooms so wheelchair users can access all areas. The only stairs are up to the stage and at the back kitchen door. There is also a large area available at the front door for dropping off anyone that is unable to walk very far.
The seating within the hall is not fixed so anywhere can provide accessible seating.
Assistance dogs are welcome and we are happy to provide water for any assistance dogs. Assistance dogs will not be allowed in the kitchen for hygiene purposes. Table service can be provided for disabled customers of the bar.
