The hall is run by volunteers so we will get back to you confirming your booking as soon as we can. Bookings are first come, first serve although where possible we will try to accommodate all bookings and sometimes it is possible to ask others to move their event. Please try to book as early as you can to help with this.
Please note it is the responsibility of the hirer to clear and clean up the hall, back to the state it was hired. Any equipment hired, borrowed or used should be returned to where it came from. Or you will be liable for hourly charges to cover cleaning, breakages, missing items.
Terms & Conditions for Hall Hire
- Hirers of the hall will be responsible for any damage to the hall, furnishings and fittings, accessories or surrounds. Any damage must be reported to the hall committee and paid in full by the hirer.
- The hirer of the hall may only use the hall for the purpose specified at the time of hire.
- The hall must be left clean & tidy, please ensure floors are swept and then vacuumed, worktops/tables are wiped and toilets are clean, mop floors if needed.
- The committee accept no responsibility for the loss or damage to any property brought into the hall.
- Persons under 16 must be supervised at all times.
- You can hire the hall committee to carry out cleaning duties after your function at the agreed rate.
- If you intend to serve any food in the hall you must have a Health & Hygiene certificate which should be sent to the hall before your event.
- If you do not leave the hall in a suitable state, you will be charged an hourly rate for cleaning of the hall.
