Join the Jura Development Trust for a free community drop-in event where residents and visitors can have their say in shaping the future of Jura.

Sunday 22nd March 2026, 12–5pm The Antler’s Bakehouse & Bar

Jura Development Trust has formed a dedicated steering group of local volunteers to develop Jura’s Local Place Plan, building on the foundations laid by the Community Action Plan. The steering group being supported by two experienced organisations — Place at the Table and Imagine If — who together have created many similar plans across Scotland, bringing a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the process.

Come along anytime between noon and 5pm to:

􀀁 View draft plans and proposals for Jura’s Local Place Plan

􀀁 Explore how the plan connects with the Community Action Plan

􀀁 Get creative through collage activities to share your ideas

􀀁 Enjoy spring activities including a seed swap

􀀁 Light refreshments provided on the day

This is a relaxed, welcoming drop-in session — no need to book, just

turn up whenever suits you. All are welcome, whether you’re a long-time resident or simply interested in Jura’s future.

The Local Place Plan is your opportunity to influence how Jura develops — from housing and environment to community facilities and beyond. Come along and share your thoughts, all welcome!
